Well a B18A1 (DOHC 1.8 non-VTEC) makes more horsepower and torque than a DOHC BP.

yeah but I saw a guy locally dyno his p5 and put 180 hp/ 215 ft/lbs of tq.
Oh I know the BP in stock form loses to most stock honda DOHC motors. If I were going to go NA, I would probably buy a honda. You can easily hit 200hp on a honda motor NA, where as we have yet to see someone on the board here do that.
IMPO, its not that they make horrible torque, its just that I like to see a car with an equal or greater torque to hp ratio.
