I was suprised, but it was a impromto race. the guy was following me, and i turned and he followed on a 2lane street. And he gunned it when we got side by side, and i gunend it aswell. and we were side by side for awhile, and we got up to 90-100 and i started to pull away and got a full carl legth before we stopped. And i was NA, and he was in a 01 model Red 2 door GTP, i could hear the loud eaton whine. he seemed to shift pretty well, i dont know. B/c i thought it was a Manual, until i figured out they never came manual. I gurantee if u race him again, u SHOULD walk the crap out of it..

****, what you got under that hood dude

its not even about that. the v10 has 800hp in it already, just needs to be unleashed. I dont think a 800hp american muscle car would be 80,000$.

One day u will see the light, HP sells cars, Tq moves ****. Hondas technology is great, but its nothin new. The whole Variable Valve Timing has been around before honda. They just glorified it and improved on it. So iguess the vette is garbage also, it only makes a wimpy 450hp out of a 7ltr v8 right? And handles like a go kart..

Lex, i got nothing but bolt-ons. im telling u u can easily take the GTp. dont underestimate the BP. I suprise myself everyday, and others. soo much that some ppl think im spraying....lol

I should have even more that I'm running 14 psi on a GTX motor ... right? It just doesn't make sense. My car feels A LOT faster than it did when it was NA with the BP.

Thats what i said, my friend in his old Bp swapped dx, he was bumper to bumper with a slightly modded GTP on the Hwy, they went form like 50mph - 120mph and his protege was right next to the gtp the whole time. Ive seen one with a pulley upgrade -exhaust - intake, run 14 flat at the track. Are u a good driver? :ARCADE: , run him again and u better get atleast 5 car legths on him..u BETTER!

I've never heard a more perfect description of a NX.

Lex, I've never raced a GTP but I've raced an SE or GT or whetever there called(non-supercharged) Grand Prix and It was very close.

BTW- why is everyone so concerned about HP per Liter, To make more power out of a smaller displacement engine it has to rev higher(barring FI)
A viper V-10 running out to 8000rpm would make some serious power. All things equal.

Well, to each his own ... I just know that GTP was not slow ... today I raced a Mazdaspeed Miata and he was close to 2 cars back by the end of 2nd gear. So ... Im not sure about that GTP but whatever it was, it was quick.
