          That's a V8, not a 2ish litre I4 that has its tires already moving in 4th gear
          I suppose if you're stupid you could always fry your clutch trying to burnout in 4th gear while moving in a 4cyl. Other than that unless you have a Turbocharged V8 with massive torque, and a huge turbo that spools late I don't see the tires breaking loose like that... but it would be cool. I can break my camaro loose in 4th with no clutch... on a wet road

          And for B-Potent, Honda's Suck . My friend used to like Hondas until he started working at Sam Linder Honda. He says the build quality is ****, and the only real part worth any respect is the motor, all else is pretty basic econo-box crap. After being to the dragstrip I can't stand those f'ing things, they are horrendously horrible sounding one-trick-ponies.... Even the s2000 is an overpriced miata...

            Indeed the S2000 is VERY overpriced.... like all the 95 later hondas were.....


            @B-potent; wtf this isn't a game dude your not in "team mazda" or something trying to trash everyother brand out there (are you paid or what ?)

            This is real life, where Brand new cars ARE NEW, don't try to compare an old beaten mx-3 toa brand new car, if your car had like 200miles on it then OK but it doesn't, even if your old car cost only like 5000 with the swap and all the upgrades its still old.

            You have to think that a brand new RSX won't have body noises, corroded parts, any wear of whatsever etc. It will have a brand new suspension, a waranty that protects you against premature wear, a brand new interior ! so many things old cars lack, but again it will age and it will be worth **** just like your old MX-3....


            So aguing about "my old car is better than a new car and my motor is stronger blah blah" is ****ing pointless and don't forget unlike you, not everyone buys cars for there straight line performance, they want a complete package that is apealing to there needs.

                I already have gone up against an srt-4 and let me tell you it wasnt fair for him to look at my tail lights for so long,haha. I'm looking for an STI & EVO to race as soon i get my 2nd cylinder intake valves to open, i think they are stuck because i have spark and my injectors are firing, so i dont think the mixture is getting to it at all. Anyway, everyone likes other cars, personally i like 2nd gen integras but i mean to come on here and say how a gsr would stomp someones protege dx is not really a good contribution to a fellow enthusiast. I'm just sayin to show some love for the mazdas......

                        Hey man, no one said anything about "team mazda" and i am not trashing any car brand, u dont have to be a smart ass about it. I know not everyone makes their car for a straight line, never did i say anyone does. The rsx is new, and so what? Do they not have faults? I'm sure they dont which is why my friends rsx is at the dealership with others having their LSD repaired right? Dont come with that new car bull**** because every car has faults. Dont try to size me up man. And if your sitting here trying to indirectly call my mx-3 a piece of **** because its not a new car then you are wrong. I have leather interior, no noises, brand new aftermarket suspension,etc. I have no a/c only because i choose performance over anything, but i have a brand new compressor in my storage. All i am trying to say is that if you guys are so intrigued by other car brands maybe u should join their forums, buy a car from them, or make a thread on here about the manufacturer....not knock on someones thread. Its a MAZDA forum, its only logical to speak about MAZDA on here, that is the only point i wanna make. []Deace

                              Uh, i've never seen or read anywhere in any of my magazines that a stock SRT-4 is capable of 13's. I've only ever seen them run mid-low 14's. Care to point out where you got that info? Not questioning you, just your source, seems pretty fast for that car.

                                For those of you on the "B.S. team" listen. DO YOUR RESEARCH. A stock n/a bp with a gtx turbo setup (gtx manifold, vj20,etc) at 7 psi will make a 60-80whp increase. That would put you at about 180whp give or take....take note, this is at 7psi on the tiny vj-20 and a gtx manifold. I have a turbo bp mx-3 with a tubular miata manifold and a garrett t3 which outflows the vj-20 in cfm by about double for those of you who can read compressor maps. I am running 10psi on my t3 which would put me if you do the math, right at about 230-250whp on a mild tune.I also have 2.5in intercooler piping, largo FMIC, and i'm running straight off the downpipe with high impedence injectors,etc. An srt4 weights 2900lbs, i weigh 2350 with all my turbo stuff now. I make the same amount of power as the srt4 if not more(they have the small t25 turbo), i have shorter gearing (g series tranny), decent driver...... why the hell would i not beat an srt4? All the FACTS point toward common sense which is i would logically win just from the numbers, and the numbers dont lie. I will race another one once i'm back on the road and video tape it for you non believers. I will also post pictures of my setup TONIGHT for those of you that dont believe me and will post a dyno sheet ASAP. Please post back you guys, i really wanna hear what you guys have to say. In no way am i being cocky, but i do not lie or bull****, and i hate it when ppl call me out saying that i do because i will admit when i am wrong. []Deace
