With 215/55/15 you should be fine, prolly more than fine. I was running 215/40/17 which is like 1/2" smaller width wise and I had plenty of room. I am actually thinking about getting Rota Slipstreams 15X7 then getting 215/55/15 BFG KDW T/A 2 but can only get 205/55/15 Cause that is the biggest 15" and I can get those for Cheap and they are AWESOME. But I think I am just sticking with my 17's so I can get some 215/40/17 so I have more traction....

But what size T3 do you have? Cause if it is the size I am thinking you got the right one. The one same size I am getting for the MX-3 I am help building...

.42a/r exhaust .48 a/r intake.......50trim i believe. Yea it definitely fits my power needs for now. Cant wait to boost it up to 14psi in 2 weeks. Theres not much to any lag on it either. []Deace

i know im not going to hate... i like them ALOT, but i feel it is a car that the owners seem to think they are on top of the world (just my experience) one of those cars younger people get because the "sleeper" aspect to them is appealing they like to ride around in a little rocket that looks like a cheap econobox with a tasteful spoiler a nice front bumper and big stock wheels... i am in NO way bashing owners i have met very few owners but this has been my experience.

and i mean quite honestly that could be just a feeling i have devloped in my own head, im not quite sure yet... but either way id love to run one. i need some better tires first though i got ROCKED by an f350 the other day simply because i was up in smoke 1st and 2nd and he just grabbed and went (he was HEAVILY modified, he sat at the light before we ran and powerbraked, roasting off both of hes rear tires that were at least 35's) but as soon as i cought the pavement i was catching up REAL quick
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

SRT4 owners act hard until you pull up next to them in an evolution.

haha, you guys arent gonna believe me but i just found a huge vacuum leak today which is the big hose that comes from the IAC valve and connects to the intake pipe going back to the Intake manifold. This is why i couldnt turn my boost up and had hard start ups. Well i fixed it today and it PUUULLLLS even harder. This means i beat an srt-4 on 4 1/2 psi with a huge vacuum leak........if i can do this i hope all you guys are truly not intimidated by srt-4's or any other cars. Everyone one on this board has potential, []Deace

That seems low for a turbo of that size. AMS uses the GT42 on thier shop car and run low 9s. Chris, owner of the infamous black EVO in Fl, is getting a 42 installed on his EVO and looking for 700-800WHP. He was making 630WHP with the GT35.

Wow nice run man. How heavy is your car? I too have the same turbo running at 4lbs as well but mine is not due to a vac leak. I have an external tial wastegate with a 4lbs small yellow spring inside. I have a large yellow spring, 1 bar, that I waiting to put in... haha... can't wait to boost 7-10lbs myself...

eskinol, my car approximately weighs 2300lbs, but i'm putting it on another diet so it will weight 2150 with me in it. Alot of carbon fiber work and other manners of weight reduction without risking my comfort and safety. Well i'm putting it up to 7psi for a week or 2 then i'm getting 550s and going to the dyno for a tune at 14psi, so we'll see, i wish you well on your project, i've been keeping tabs on it.

silentbob, yea the numbers for that huge of a turbo should be greater, but that car weighs nothing so you gotta take that into consideration. 2200lb car divided by 675whp is 3.26lbs per horsepower which is INSANE. A supra weighing 3500lbs with 1000whp pushes 3.5lbs per horsepower..........so yea you get the picture? My next turbo upgrade will be a t3/t4 ball bearing. Any turbo upgrade after that and i'm fully building my motor.

Vash00es......i will LOVE my 6 puck clutch for daily driving. Might be a bit rough but a real man can handle it for the performance it will give. Gotta give a little to get a little.

Haha, I'm with b-potent on this one. I don't care if my car was a 1000 horsepower, 1600 lbs. nightmare to drive. I'd still jump and lurch and stall my way to work in it everyday.

What clutch are you using, I know a 6 puck, but for what car? I didn't think they made high HP clutches for the pro/mx3/scort.

Oh and what tranny and how much WHP do you think you're putting down?

protege G series... ACT and Spec both make 4 puck and 6 puck clutches for the pro/escort.

I went with a stage 2 Spec clutch, and mines still an organic disc. I can go up to something like 250ft lbs and wont be a pain in traffic.
The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.
