So you raced the worst era of mustang, which was most likely a v6 with cobra tags. Props.

Hey now, cut the guy some slack. In the right light, festivas really do look like mustang cobras. We've all made that mistake. Hell, the other day, I raced an '85 chevy citation, coulda sworn it was a ferrari of some kind. 360 modena or something. With rednecks driving it. And hot chicks in the back.

So, you beat a "second generation" Cobra??
Congratulations on beating a Mustang from the worst Era.
I suppose its almost believeable After all the Mustang II's were like the worst **** ever. The Cobra package back then was mostly an appearance thing. You basically beat a sporty pinto.

            no more poo flinging plz.

I'd agree with that statement. I have seen plenty of those domestic ricers that put cobras on a v6 stang and ride around like they are the ****. I even saw one v6 owner goas far as swapping to the cobra exhaust. It was all over when he poped the hood at the meet though.
The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.

Dont knock those v6's....i've seen quite a few nice turbo setups on them. There's one guy on 3.8mustang.com i think it was that was making something like 450rwhp on a stock 99+ motor.

I raced an '06 Corvette this morning, I think it was a 2nd gen... he looked kind of queer so I launched my pro in 2nd to limit the massive ammount of wheelspin. I ended up beating him by 20 bus-lengths at 160mph. It may have been a V6 model though...

negative....only reason they got a bad rap was because of the head gaskets on older ones. Other than those its actually a pretty solid motor.
