    1st AutoX today!

Ran the first (both for me and the car) autocross with the 90 Protege LX today, what a blast! pics of other cars here, as I didn't manage to take any of my car there. Went reasonably fast for a noob, didn't cone, didn't get lost, didn't spin or plow.... Hmmm, should have pushed harder.... There was also 94 LX there that was pretty quick. http://www.flickr.com/photos/cojsl/

I was asking about the autolocks. Turns out I stayed in my seat just fine.
My best time was a 75 I think, and I improved my time every run. The fastest runs were high 50s I think. I wasn't the slowest there anyway. Still waiting on the website to update with final results. I'll post them when they appear.
There was an F150 Lightning that got a stuck throttle, causing it to spin and light up the tires for a good 10 seconds, we all got a good laugh out of it.

that's def. not bad for a noobie in my books...i'm probably gonna be in the 100s trying to find the track haha. yeah high 50s is what people seem to get...unless u own a go-cart driven by a 15 year old hahahaha, that was a highlight of my day

          OK, got my times

Best real time of the day was a ~56
          My runs:
          1) 80.672 2) 78.990 3) 77.110 4) 75.004
The Protege in FSP class (with race slicks) was running high 60s
With index, i finished 110 out of 130
          Finished 23rd of 37 novices
          Definitely red-lined the fun meter!
