    Anybody else beat a Porsche Boxster?

    Took me up to 100 but I gained on him right up to his bumper. couldn't shake me and I had plenty left. Fun.....

    Larry, PM me your number, I lost it since I was last out. I'll be in town in a month, and I think we need a beer and spirited drive (maybe not in the order).

    On topic... The 4wd has a hard time getting to 80, and the GP ...well it kept up with your GT in 55mph traffic, but it's top end sucks past 85. I doubt it could keep side/side. and then when the limiter kicks at 112mph...all hell sucks me back.
    No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

            boxters aren't really that fast, at least in my experience. beat one last weekend at an autocross, with my BP'd 323, and a few at track days with my BPT'd escort wagon..

            get the right driver behind the wheel, and the right mods, though, those cars will kick ass.

                Well, the Boxster's not exactly.... SLOW, but, of course, they aren't the fastest things out there either. Doesn't matter. Always a good feeling to surprise people who don't know what I'm driving....

                I guess beating off on a Porsche is better than beating on a Porsche. Can they both land you in jail? LOL

                Hey almighty... your GP only kept up when I was runnin' lower boost.

                I'm currently set at 14 lbs and I'm tempted to go to 16 soon just to test it out. That'll be later this summer when I go in for a dyno.

                  Every porsche that I've encountered were it was reletively safe to race was either a geezer driving or a milf, never someone who was edgy and wanted a good thrill. I'd probably pwn them tho
                  I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

                    i had one middle aged guy race me in his boxter while i was in my EGTX. he was the one who provoked me to(i have no idea y he tryed starting a race with a ford escort), but i made him look stupid for doing it

                        my friend has an 83 VW Rabbit with a VR6 swap and TONS of go-fast goodies. He has the porsche symbol on the back glass with the VW Rabbit humping it haha. That car is stupid fast for stock internals, runs high 12s i THINK.

                          Because your not a REAL BIG man till you beat (or try to in your case) on a small man. I had a Z06 rev at me once when I was driving my 93 home from work!

                          EDIT: I forgot about that time I believe it was also a boxster hit the gas to cut me off onto the passing lane. Then into a decent turn I pulled 90+ but he didn't keep up. BIG MAN with a lead foot on straights especially since he could have walked me if he had a nut or two!

                            raced an 08 porsche boxter s in a rb20det swapped 240sx coupe running stock boost. it was from a roll at about 15. the guy kept up until about 70 then after that we blew past him. those new boxter s are actually pretty fast!!
