i have stopped racing when i lost my civic (nos powered) for 2 years then i bought this 323 in Oct of 2002 so i wont race anymore. i wanted to keep this 323 stock until i found out the potential that this car has though internet and in less than 5 months I already have the upgrades of most of the peeps have here in this forum and started racing again....

what do you mean you lost your civic?
Did it get taken away for racing?

i raced a gsr, and those bastards are fast. My freinds (1st gen dsm and bmw m3) and i were cruizin on a saturday nite, we were at a stoplight when a 95' gsr pulled up and want a piece of one of us, so we rearranged so that me and the gsr could race i had three people in the car, the gsr had two. At the light we rev up to get a good launch, i rev at about 2.8k (any higher i lose tractions bad and start wheel hopping). The light turns green i jump out by 1/2 a car and start pulling at 2nd gear i am still winning and i can see the car i my mirrors, in third (my good gear) i stop pulling and i am not letting up, in 4th at about 95 or 100 he slowly starts comming back and i am freaking out, but he stops comming back and he eventually cuts throttle but v-tech brought him within almost a car lenght of me i was amazed.
i think he just had intake and exhaust and maybe a header
later that week i found the exhaust leak that slowing down my car.

I never like carrying more than 1 person in my cars.

1st gen lx with a mitsubishi 14b (first gen dsm turbo) welded to a gt-r manifold, top mount ic, hood scoop, and stock exhaust (yeah ive been that lazy). right now im at about 5 psi by the end of the summer i should be at 10psi or maybe 15

when i am actually planning a race, i lose the passengers but when cruizin the car has at least one other person in it and the windows are down, with friends in the car quick races have more $h!T$ and giggles especially when the other driver hears the bov, the poor bastard

Ill try for pics tommorow, well today (its 3am)
right now im using the stock clutch. When i first drove the lx with the turbo the clutch was slipping really bad, so my friends and i changed it (the current stock clutch), the orginal clutch was a funny sight, two of the six clutch cushions has been blown off. I saved up $500 and will start clutch shopping tomorrow, well today (its 3am)

Since my girl got her TSX the GSR has just been sitting in the driveway, I took it for a spin and got it up on the highway and it really impressed me. If you plan on taking on one through some twisties you better have some skill. The RS/LS/GS Have nothing on the GSR or ITR. Maybe I should take the GSR to kent lol
