RE330s or 990s... something like that... it escaped me atm. They have worked for me in my application... I was probably going to try the S-03s after the REs wore out.

No real complaints about either set, but the Kumhos are sticky enough to really let me know my original struts and springs (107k miles) are pretty shot. the inside front tire hops a bit turning a corner at 25mph.

I have the Ecsta 711's on my mustang and they are pretty good for "cheap" tires.

sounds like that will probably be the next tire I go to.

New azenis came out but nobody i know has them only the older ones. Only thing with some falkens is that they used to (hope not anymore) that issue where the sidewall blew out! MINOR issue!

yeah, I looked at Tirerack when I got my all seasons and they were less than half what I paid for the Firestones. good thing I have connections so Belle Tire matched their price and I got them the same day. (they don't match online retailers' prices)

**** guys, I work for firestone and get SO3's for 50% off. Right now Im running potenza re 950's which are a killer tire. When I get my new rims Im going with 195/45r16 potenze re 750. The only other tire Ive woundered about is the yokahoma parada spec-2. Has anyone used these tires or have any info on their quality?
Too bad I have AWD and you don't!

I've never heard of an RT215 Azenis blowing out...ever.

End all your doubts and uncertainties. If you want a summer only tire, the only choice is Yokohama AVS ES 100's.

I've been nothing but pleased with my hankook ventus R-S2 Z212's, I only have 1k on them now so I have yet to see how noise and wear plays out. Otherwise real sticky tire with good wet handling for a decent price.

I used the Yoko Parada spec-2 on my 2nd gen Escort and I loved them....They were 205/45/16. I have the Toyo Proxes 4's on my Protege and they are good, and they are 195/50/15....The Yoko's griped better, but were in a 16". My friend has the Toyo T1S's on his Daytona and they are real good.. He has them in a 195/45/15.

                                BTW...
Does anyone here get any mileage out of their tires??? I got 4000 out of the Spec-2's..... But I had a blast for those miles....

Pics of the old scort.... since been cut up into tiny peices and scraped out.
