    13" wheels on a BG (EGT/pro lx)

anyone have any idea what sort of 13's i could get to fit on the front of an EGT, and how big of a spacer i might need to clear the brakes?

    stock escort steelies?

I ask a similar question a few months ago, but I was to fit 13 by 8 or 7.

This guy got 13/6.5's to fit with a 1/4" spacer.

I wants to sensor it for some reason, but you'll have to take out the spaces.

i'm just trying to find some sort of cheap steelies or something to put drag slicks on.

i've heard a rumor that some realllly BASE model 97+ escorts came with 13" steelies that clear the larger 10" front brakes. i tried confirming this through car-part.com but they make no reference to such wheels :/

anyone ever seen a 3rd gen escort with 13" steelies at the jy?

there are 3 3rd gen at the jy here, none with 13"s. all got 14" steelies, and the zx2 had the stock alloys. In fact, from all my biking walking around town, all the 3rd gens I've seen didn't have 13", all had 14" steel or alloy.
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

well i know that stock 2nd gen 13's wont fit, also i've tried using an aftermarket aluminum 13's as a spare when i got a flat and it wouldn't even clear the smaller rear disk brakes. i really doubt that any 13's will fit. just mount all the wheels backwards :D

I don't think any OEM ones will fit, but maybe with spacers. But even if they did, they aren't wide enough.

This may be a strange question, but why not buy 14s?
