    Dual Valve Stems.?

okay, this kid in my town wants to trade rims with me, he has htem on his civic hatch, they came on it when he bought it, i forget what brand they are but it starts with a K.. it says made in japan stamped on teh front but he said they are reallly light, they are a 14" split 5 spoke i like the way they look. but what im wondering is why they have dual valve stems, has anyone heard of this and what is the point?

Kosei maybe? Anyways, the purpose of dual stems is so that you can fill the tires with nitrogen. Put in nitrogen at the bottom while letting the 'regular' air bleed out at the top. Also, when pumping up a tire, you can put a gauge on the other stem and see the pressure go up in 'real time'.
