About the owner:
Well i bought the car after saving up all summer of 9th grade for 1200. At the time i had no idea that anyone did anything to mx-3's and i wasnt much of an enthusiast just yet. Someone finally offered to trade their eclipse gs for my mx-3 and since i had seen more of an eclipse i considered it seriously, but thank god i didnt trade because the mx-3 was in immaculate condition.
Since then i ran into a local mx-3 enthusiast that had a bpt swap with a haltech and he took me for a ride and it was absolutely awesome and i knew my car had potential. So after weeks and weeks of research i did my first bp swap and although i didnt have much help, i made it through. It ran like a champ and was fun, and reliable to drive. Soon enough after i wanted to boost because one of my good friends and long time members on this forum James w/ the red 323 had a bad ass setup on his car. Soon i began my first turbo kit with a 50trim t3, after i got bored with that i got a t3/t04e and i've stuck with that since then.
There isnt an area on this car that hasnt been touched all the interior was brown and it is now all black with black leather, i did a 94 dash swap with the newer style dash, rear disc swap, and much more and although i've had my struggles its all been worth it. Im beginning to sort out all the issues with the new setup so i can see if i can make the 400whp i think i can. My main goal is to snatch the cover of a top magazine (superstreet, import tuner, etc) by the time im 23 as i am 20 now. The plan to get there is gut the whole car inside, outside, engine bay for paint which will be velocity red mica from the mazdaspeed 6. I'll probably have all stock bumpers with lip kits and grab some nicer wheels. Im just a poor college student with an expensive hobby, but its all worth it. Thank you everyone and i hope we keep raising the bar. Peace
