    Hey everyone, new from PA

    Hey guys, ive been lurking for a few days now doing some research on my 5sp 1997 Mazda Protege 1.8L. I bought my protege a few months back from a dealership as a daily driver not expecting much out of it at all but was somewhat impressed. Too bad the 2nd gen BHA was the runt of the protege family in the performance after market aspect.

    As for plans for the car, its bone stock now. I have lowering springs shipping to my doorstep this week. Ive been in contact with sources and junkyards in search of a BPT from a 323 for the swap. If no luck, ill be boosting the BP using the GSX intake manifold and probably just an ebay kit (ditching that shoddy wastegate of course).

    If anyone is familiar, i am also a member on Tristatetuners.com, and have been for a few years.

    Looking forward to talking to everyone! ill have pics up as soon as possible.

              A few months old. And still 4x4 status. Ill get around to that in the next few weeks. I was unemployed as of late, so once this new job settles in and i get caught up on bills, i can be broke with a faster car.
