    new to the forum

    i've been linked here for the tranny upgrade for our g serie transmition failure

    i come from quebec, canada,i drive a 96 mx-3 with a +/-300whp bpt that kills transmition every 2 months

    i wanted to introduce myself so that i can acess the majority of the pics/links in the appropriate section

            well, the name'S Frank,but i defenetly like Kab better

            this is my 96 rs-bpt,owned it for 4 years, and bought with the bpt bolted in,nothing else






            i run a BONE STOCK bpt,he only thing that have been changed (exept for the pumps n belts) is the bp05 head to increase air-flow.

            since i live in quebec, i have to store it for 6 month, so i'll do a resume cause the car change every 6 months

            you cant realise how fast you get your shirt off when the rad finally decide to come off

            since those pics i changed rims 3 times, installed a full stainless 3'' exaust,from downpipe to muffler. ordered another map sensor since 20 psi isin't enough,yet again, my goal this season is 11.9@120

                i have between 1/16 and 1/8 between my gt30 antisurge housing and my oem rad fan
                i'm tottally sure that you have exactly the same space that i have under the hood

                    ok, it's been a while,here a major update with tons of pics

                    my hood popped in my face at the track, ruined both the windshield, the top ,wings etc
                    it went over at 160-170,so no big chance of saving something.hood pins failure,horrible mess

                    if you told me 2 weeks ago that my car would look like that,i'd probably would have jumped from the third floor

                    since 700 was way too much to repair my car i had to find another one, and i did find one, @ 700$
                    mx-3 gs 95,bleu mica,ATX, full options,no rust at all, 121 000 km, it was a deal,so,over with the drums, got my rear subframe with sway bar/rear disc,sunroof etc etc
                    it's been sitting in a garage backyard for 7 months, so it's kinda dirty

                    a huge thanks to all the help i had
                    here's the gs,


                    dont forget thet i'm keeping everything from my rs, suspention direction,cross member etc etc, rs to gs really IS a lot of job

                    4 guy to get 1 engine off

                      the whole engine bay was brushed,and painted with gravelguard/flat black paint

                      brakes were simply horrible, so i kept everything,wheel hub etc

                        horrible part, as i had to take the k08 away we used the same chain block that we used on the pic, one part is atached to the celling, and the other part is on wheel,so you can move it around easy,

                        problem/top gear top tips,do not EVER EVER lock the wheels on anything with that kind of chain block, as the wheel got stuck on the pickuptruck, the whole thing flipped over, and YES we almost got killed,we were 2 ppl standing on the pickup









                        it was scarry, nobody was hurt, and the only damage was a rear suspention for the pickup(suspention blade?) and my upper rad suport was ****ed.luckily for us it wasent the whole pickup cab, or my widshield AGAIN

                        we put the thing up again and tested it with my friend's dad tractorif it can hold 20 tons, maybe it's gonna be good enough for my bpt

                          le fillage, it's horrible, it was a b6 96 obd2, with a megasquirt as piggyback,cutted/splitted from my car'wiring,installed in a 95 automatik gs

                          real rat nest, like 18feet long

                          rear brakes were long dead, so i ahd everything in new to install


                          BAD surprise, an alignement ajustement rod was bended, probably by someone who didin't knew how to tow a car

                          i had sapres one, lucky me
                          began at 11-12, finished at 4 am,dead, with a bottle of wine

                          after 15-16h, te simplest task was looking like a mountain, we searched everywhere for tools that were in our hands

                          were dead tired, so we slept in the car from 5 to 8 and started again

                          getting my bpt in the gs








                          there is a LOT of things that dosent fit, espetially the ****en heater rad's hoses



                          now ebout everything is bolted back up, as some updates, i bought projectors so i dosen't kill myself when it's raining,and a mazdaspeed protege transmition, so my lsd is FINALLY on the way to the weld shop





                          now it'S in, i have some problems with the wiring, so i sent my ms/wiring to get torn apart ,so i can run the gs/rs being stand alone, lot less problems.once the car fires up, it needs an enlignement, and off i go with a new car, it's been a real headache, but we did about everything in 2 days
