so i guess this is where i put my introduction post :p

bought a 1990 mazda 323SE about a month or so ago. and i have no idea what to do with it. its currently my daily driver...
haven't made up my mind on whether i should actually mod it, and expect to get some respectable WHP out of it... and if its really worth it.
or just save up for a different car (my original plan... just needed a car to drive while saving up, and ran across a 323 for $600... runs great, and its a 5 speed. couldn't pass it up. just didn't know anything about the 323 beforehand)

probably not going to post a whole lot, but i figured i'd make an account anyways.
    will definitely be lurking though

oh trust me, if i had picked up a GTX i'm sure i would already be hooked

just not a huge fan of FWD cars, and from what i've read an AWD swap just isn't feasible
already looking at the b6t and bpt engine swaps, but there were a few things i wasn't sure of
but this car is my daily driver like i said... so it would need to get done in a weekend, and i'm not exactly a mechanic ><
would love to get an AWD or RWD car (was first planning on buying a 300zx... i'm quite the nissan fan)

agree, hit up Nate. also, there is some people with some nicely modded BG's putting down some decent power in that area of the US. With the power output of our cars and the weight, you'd be surprised how many cars you can beat.

I've decided that my car is a girl, she's picky as hell, won't listen to me, always wants to fight me, and when i give her presents it's never good enough and she always wants more.

Traction is for going fast. Put on crappy street tires for a good show. lol

Looks like a good find for $600! I'd turn that thing into a nasty autocross machine.

nice and clean! at the very least, a BP swap is in order. very easy plug-and-play swap if you can find a wrecked protege LX for cheap. you can upgrade your front and rear brakes at the same time, too.

its not in perfect condition, but it is nice

there are a few dents on the driver side rear quarter panel (bought it like that, no idea how they got there
and the passenger side brake light is busted, and possibly a dent in that area... (friend drove it... my tires are practically bald, it was raining, and he met a guard rail)
already bought a replacement brake light...

i'm pretty sure thats all thats wrong with it
