Overall you're CAI looks pretty clean, but I see what you're saying about the sharp bend towards the bottom. I wonder how much that might restrict airflow. It looks like you got your sensors attached pretty smoothly though. I thought the Cosmo Racing one looked pretty good myself. The airflow looks very direct. I'm going to call their customer service and ask a few questions. I'll probably order it this Friday if I get the answers I'm looking for and hopefully install it sometime soon. I'll upload detailed pictures and let you know how everything works out.

Thanks. The cosmo one does look very smooth and it's a good thing you plan on asking before buying. Would suck to order it for $130 orwhatever just to find out it doesn't fit right. Can't wait to see it on your car though.

I have a question that's off topic from the CAI discussion, but do you have any suggestions on loosening a gas pedal? The only thing I don't like about this car is how the gas pedal seems stiff during normal acceleration. Have you had this problem? It's not a big problem, but it's a detail that annoys me like that hose under your TB annoys you. This small annoyance happens most often when I'm driving slowly in first or second gear. It causes a small bucking sensation throughout the vehicle.

I've never really had that problem. My pedal seems to be pretty steady the whole time, but I'll pay more attention to it as I drive around today. My first thought would be a spring or something that returns the pedal to its normal position, but I'm not entirely sure. I'll see if I can check it out.

              hey welcome to the club.

with your pedal issue, the cable could be warn out from bad dust boots allowing crap to get in and build up.

you can always disconnect the cable @ the throttle body and move it back and forth to make sure it's free, if its not, replace cable
