    wats up guys, name is dan just joined looking to figure more out about turbocharging how to do it and such i figure this is the place everyone talks about on feoa.net i drive a 94 escort gt and this is a mazda with a ford badge. well looking forward to browsing and hopefully learning something.

            thanks for the welcomes one question is a budget what is a rough sum of cash to get by experiment with. im not looking to race or push some serious horses ouuta the motor i just wanna see what i can do. im getting shipped out in a week and im curious on how to blow my money when i get back. i have tools and a pretty good understanding of whats under my hood(thanks to club protege and feoa) and i can weld so anything is possible i guess this is going off topic now but thanks in advance looking foward to hearing what you guys gottta say

              Research the bpt and what's all on that setup. With good connections and deals you find on here and feoa you can do a nice basic vj20(gtx bpt) setup for around 1000.

                    ill keep you guys posted to let you know nothing will be started till late may damn military but am stilll learning this forum is great, one really off topic question does anyone know if a 6 foot 3 inch guy would fit in a miata or is my hopes for one gonna end?

                        Also by the way, if you got any turbo concepts/theory questions, feel free to ask me. A lot of turbo hardware is universal too, so that makes it easier.

                        Where you will need most help probably is the areas of engine/fuel management, and sourcing of pre-made manifolds/mandrel bends for the build, if you aren't able to fabricate your own pieces.
