This is 16ga mandrel bend welded to ~1/2" thick cast iron...

This setup is temporary. I build headers and sell them on the 'net for 60 degree GM motors and this was just to get going in a reasonable amount of time, and yes, function over form in this exact case :D As long as it seals and stays together, it's all good :D

Car still can't get out if it's own way, but feels better. I have the wastegate hung open a little till I get a guage hooked up, and obviously the trans is vacuum modulated, the dipstick keeps popping out.

Wasn't the dipstick, it was a sensor that never got bolted back in
