Hi,
I've been reading up on the forums here for some time, gathering info for a, well, I hate to say restoration on a car that's not quite 20 years old yet, but whatever... Anywho, I'm rebuilding my Escort from the ground up, and plan to end up with pretty much the entire MX-3 suspension and brake setup, and a 5-speed KLDE swap when finished. I'm still in the process of gathering parts, but I have a nearly complete engine already, just need a few minor bits and I can start rebuilding it.
Here's a pic, but it's a bit outdated.
You can see that the motorized driver seatbelt is stuck forward, I've temporarily fixed that but plan to swap in regular belts. It has 94+ MX-3 seats up front, covered cause they don't even come close to matching and I'm looking for the Recaros to replace them. Also since this pic weather got cold, and a slight nudge to the bumper while scraping ice from the windshield cause the driver's side of it to shatter, so now you can clearly see how the body shop neglected to paint anything that was covered by any other thing.
