this is my first mazda. i have a 1994 mazda protege lx bp 1.8 dohc. i want to make my car a manual and i tried researching how hard it was and it said the ecu and tps is different, i was wondering if u can just change them and splice into automatic harness or would i have to swap the whole harness? any info would be helpfull. i tried searching but couldnt find anything.

1994 protege lx. 145,000 miles on car. auto tranny is shot, car only goes about thirty mph. sunroof. electric windows. runs good. i found a reciept in glove box $600. for new struts upper and lower ball joints and allignment, dated from four months ago. some body damage. i thought it was a pretty good score for $175 bucks. -
