Hi! New and need help with my 2000 protege?

I am putting on a rear strut and am having trouble with the allen key and bolt on the sway bar that is attached. I cut it off of the junker car I removed it from but would rather not do the same to mine. Any help? I stripped the allen key piece on the other one I was wrenching on it so hard and it was so tight. Thank you!

Use needle nose vise grips on the back side of the sway bar. wedged between the bar and the link, you will have to tighten them with the power of HE-Man as the metal on the link is hardened steel. then clean all the exposed threads and lube generously (dont lube where the vise grips are)
Depending on the amount of corrosion on your car it will come off or need to be cut. At the dealership everyone used to just cut them off to save time as it is a hit and miss whether they will come off.
    Good Luck!!
