    New guy from the missouri area!

    Hey guys, my name is kevin. all that i have driven was hondas, but i just bought a 94 protege dx.

    Its a 1.8L SOHC. i really dont know alot about it, and i would like to!

    It has some issues that i cant, for the life of me, figure out.

    The speedometer does not work, and i cant find any information on fixing it.

    Also, my gas gauge stopped working, and i cant find out how to fix it either! lol.

    I searched it, looked on ebay, and i went to orielys, and all of them, cant find anything..

    ANY HELP WOULD BE AWESOME! :D

          welcome to CP! The speedo cable is mechanical, so good chance the cable snapped. Also the fuel gauge gets it's signal from the floater in the gas tank, which is accessible under the rear seat. Gives you a base idea of what you're in for, but definitely search as the info is out there
