I'm not trying to be rude but I have to be honest...I purchased a 1990 Protege 1 week ago for my father. We weren't looking for anything fancy, just a somewhat reliable put put car that he could drive instead of his Harley when it's raining. So far the Protege has been nothing but problems and I'm very close to throwing in the towel and just having the turd towed out of here for scrap metal.
The MR2 owners club has been a great source of advice for me for years...I'm hoping someone in this club knows enough about the Protege to shed some light on my problem. (I'll put that in the drivetrain category)
