Purchased a 1991 Ford Escort earlier this year and am looking to swap the Mazda front end. Glad to be apart of the forum!

Ideally the square headlights with the less wide grille, from the early-mid 80's 323 (correct me if I am wrong). I wouldn't mind the slant headlights if that was my only option- So long as this car is more Mazda than Ford when I am done with it.

I was wrong, what I think I was looking at was a BG 323 before it's facelift. Maybe someone can help me out here- at what point did the front end change on this era of 323's?

square headlights would indeed be the easiest.
