    2003 DX Owner

    Hello all,
    My daughter owns a 2003 DX and I am the fleet mechanic. We just did a fuel pump and an intake hose today to troubleshoot a p171 code. Car is running great now. Hopefully I can contribute something in the future!

        P0171: Fuel trim system too lean

        Possible Causes According to FSM:
        O2 sensor (front) deterioration
        O2 sensor (front) heater malfunction
        PRC solenoid valve malfunction
        Pressure regulator malfunction
        Fuel pump malfunction
        Fuel filter clogged or restricted
        Fuel leakage on fuel line
        Fuel return hose clogged
        Leakage from exhaust system
        Purge solenoid valve malfunction
        Insufficient compression
