Hello
I have 2001 Mazda Protege 1.6 L engine with auto transmission. Last week I hit a pothole while accelerating and O/D off started flashing and the car would not go into high gears, it would stay in safe/ limp mode.
Slowly I made it home. Also the engine check light came on.
My OBD II code reader pointed me to the break switch. I found the blown fuse for break lights. Replaced the fuse and the engine light is gone but I still have problem with the transmission, I would not go in 2nd 3,4 gears while revs go really high.
Any help is greatly appritiated.
