    Hey Ya'll

    Hello everyone at cp,

    Just wanted to drop a line so i can really begin to dig into all the info thats here. I am a happy new owner of a 91 protege dx. Scored it for 500 bucks a few months ago here in Tx and like most of you ive begun to get addicted to fixing it up and learning as much as i can. The newest project though is going to pick up a 92 protege lx this weekend, for 500 beans as well(runs). Hopefully i can put the money that was intended for the dx into the lx and have it for my out of town car and use the dx as my daily driver. Ill post pics as soon as the weather gets better. Still raining cats and dogs here.

        Shell out 500 bones for a 20 yr old car and expect it to work. Spend not terrible much more and hotrod it to the point of pwning foxbody mustangs, and *still* expect it to work. This is the Mazda Way.
        '90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
        '90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.
