There are some descent things on rockauto.com. I have a Ford festiva, but with a sohc b8 from a 94 dx - gaskets/timing belt/etc are all reasonable on that website.Comment

As far as engine parts, you should be able to use pretty much anything from the Miata aftermarket.
Most/many chassis and drivetrain parts will be interchangeable with second and third generation Escorts. Oh, and BP powered Sephias. They're good too.

yepp, I just had to purchase a escort header. hate the cast iron bull**** though. I've got to say, I purchased my protege lx as a daily driver beater for a buck fifty. expecting only that but, this thing blew me away. the 1.8l dohc bp is definitely my new favorite.Comment
