    Howdy,

I just inherited a '94 Protege LX with ~110k miles.

It's refreshing to drive something that, while not endowed with a lot of power, still feels sprightly and nimble because it's so light. That's something lost nowadays, and all the power in the world can't compensate for.

Despite being old enough to drink, she's in very good shape; everything works, and the interior is super clean. The exterior bumper covers do show their age, but everything else on the body is good.

I do have a few general questions, but I'll post those to the appropriate forum.

The twin cam, which I believe is called the BP-ZE.

What may be odd, though, is that I saw someone here say that all the LXs have 4-wheel disc brakes. But from what I saw through the holes of the wheels (steel, unfortunately) it has rear drums.

Definitely should have disc brakes everywhere. Check it out from underneath to be sure.
