    New P5 Daily/Autocross

    Hello,

I just picked up a Protege5 Saturday and I will, hopefully, be registering it soon. The goal for this car is daily driver and autocross. I'm a track guy first but autocross is fun and a lot cheaper. Hoping to make the P5 a fun if not terribly competitive H Street car.

I have two Fieros as well. One is a Street/Track car and the other is a LeMons car.

My best friend also has a P5, albeit very rusty that he's been threatening to turn into a LeMons car so I might be posting about that too.

Be very weary, the oil pan system is not well suited to heavy cornering changes.

You should buy my sway bars and turn it into an STC car.

Thanks for the heads up! Has anyone done a home built solution short of the AWR pan? There's a big difference between the $32 for a stock pan and some welding wire/scrap and $320. Especially since I'll probably be building two!

Don't think I haven't though about it! But with the new street class I can play with one of the swaybars which is enough to be entertaining and also keep me from having too many projects

          Thanks for the replies!
