Just got a yellow 03 Protege5!

Just picked up a yellow 2003 Protege5 with 133k miles on it!

I also need help as the previous owner had some bad repairs and I don't know what these volume lines go to or what the sensor is near the cruise control.

Welcome aboard. Not sure what you mean by volume lines. Can you post pictures?
