New member here. Got a cheap 1994 Protege LX with 168K in rough shape on Monday and looking to rehab her.
BP and 5 speed trans seem to be in pretty good condition. Interior is a dumpster fire (no consoles, missing driver's side trim, driver's auto belt doesn't work, etc., etc.). No muffler. Needs to be painted.
Fixed the horn today, which felt like an OK start. Muffler should be here tomorrow and hoping to get it on asap. Lots to do...
Discovered a couple water leaks, which is maddening. Cleaned front sunroof drain hoses, but didn't seem to help. Hoping to get this resolved before I move on.
