is there any way to access the archive of forums from that site? what is needed to bring it back? if someone buys the domain is that all is needed? does someone have the archive?

my best guess would be to get in touch with the domain owner. there is a ton of good info in there. i was a member.

You know what I miss a lot about that forum?

If my memory hasn't failed me, there was an entire category titled "How-to..." where we could go check out the most common mods (simple or difficult) that members did to their cars. It was convenient and gave all of us something to work for. I remember lots of guys working hard to take good pictures and do step-by-step write-ups on the mods. On almost every forum I've been on since, I haven't noticed a convenient place to go look at a section like that as a resource or quick reference. Might the administrators consider starting a category like this for each model? Hmmmmmm...... Just a thought I wanted to share.

i do agree id like to see more How-To's. im unsure if like having them in each section or not. me & goldstar lightly discussed re-working the DIY/how-to section. to which we still need to tackle

I'd also like to see more how to's.

Idk if putting how to's in each section would be a good idea either. Right now they are all in one place, which is nice. I like looking at all the how to's, even ones that don't apply to my car. I feel that I wouldn't be doing that if they weren't in the same place. Just my thoughts.
