        The turbo wouldn't have to be that big to push 15.6 psi, any good medium sized turbo could do that. As far as fmic vs. tmic, I guess it depends more on what you're trying to get and what you're going to be doing. If you're building a drag car, then definitely FMIC w/ a big ass turbo, but my personal preference would be a medium sized turbo w/ a TMIC, to keep spool time minimal.

          What do you guys think it would run on the 1/4?
          According to the Mazda website the specs are:
          Horsepower:274
          Torque:280ft.lbs
          Curb Weight:3589Lbs.
          I wonder how much it's putting down at the wheels since it's AWD.

            Somewhere around 200 at the wheels I'd guess. WRX's Dyno ~140whp IIRC, depending on the dyno.

                    6 isn't that much bigger than an impreza, they're bigger than proteges, besides a lot of the weight comes from the awd system.

                            if its not a fulltime AWD, then will it be managed by a TCS system or will it be up to the driver to turn it on/off and they please?

                              It'll probably be like Mitsu's setup if its not full-time. FWD with variable center diff that can distribute up to 50/50 f/r, normally locked in at 100/0.
