I bought it over the web from a parts dealer for Mazda in Japan. It ran me $40 seeing as they are quite rare appaerently, but their site shows they still have them I think. Might have to email them to find out. Im tempted to get another one for my White GT.

Well, I drove home today and started hearing some weird howling noise under the hood and popped it once I got home. Oil is Everywhere! This engine is done. so I think its best to park it till the swap to save it from any further damages.

            Looks nasty!

Shots of the carnage. Hopefully I can barrow my folks spare mazda 323 and drive that for a while until this new engine is done.

                            Update!

Ran into a few roadblocks, but nothing that couldnt be fixed with throwing alot of money at it. I ended up getting new rods and pistons. Got a set of Forged pistons and a set of Eagle H Beam (?) forged rods. About an extra $900 in parts I didnt want to spend, but on the other hand, cant say I mind. I was going to do Forged internals anyways.

I also decided since Im doing this, I will slowly put together a bigger turbo setup. Im going to aim for 350 to 400 WHP. Of Course this will require an aftermarket engine management system. Any thoughts on a good turbo for this kind of goal?
