1992 Ultra Blue Metallic EGT - The 'scort with no name - crap>reliable daily>rallycross prep>stage rally
Featured in Rally Gearbox Magazine 3/1/11
"There's a hierarchy of insanity in motor sports. Normal people think all racers are crazy. Folks who race sedans think people in open-wheel cars are nuts. People who race cars of any kind think motorcycle racers are absolutely off theirs meds. But there's one group that everyone agrees is made up of the most extreme, the most daring, and absolutely craziest people in racing - rally racers."

Hurry up, Matt. I'm tired of driving alone.

I'm working on it man. I will totally drive it down there for ALMS too. Even with a full rally prep.

what suspension is on this ride? I am still looking for struts (dirtas or anything decent) before i jump in a clean my gtx up and rebuild a few things. if i can't find struts that i dont have to hack to pieces to make fit then i think my gtx is going away

Right now I have Pedder's struts all the way around. and the SusTech/Corksport springs. I don't think I'll ever actually mount them on this car.. There's a guy up in the Seattle area that's going to build me some coilovers with bilstein inserts. Or I'll go with DMS.

is it pre or post-facelift? I need to find me one. I remember seeing a few of them at the yard, many years ago. Shoulda, woulda, coulda.

What?!!? You saw one in a yard?!!? I hate you Terry...

It is most assuredly post. I test fitted it on Derrick's car since mine are all hours away from me. It does look pre-facelift though, I was very concerned about that when buying it from Eastern Canada for that reason. Also picked up a mechanical amber colored HKS boost gauge with it.

Yeah, one was red and the other was white. I didn't want them because I was looking for one in black and had hopes I would see one someday. What a fool I am.
