      im on the fence. i like the black because it hides the holes, and its easier, lol. but i like the white because its closer to oem.

          The black is nice when it's all new and shiny but when it starts getting nicked and scratched the white will stick out like a sore thumb..my .02. Hit it with a good primer after you have thoroughly cleaned and degreased it and then roughed it up with a scotchbrite pad. Put on multiple coats of a black primer and then put on the top coat..use a satin finish IMHO. That should be sturdy enough. Take your time for a lasting job.

                  have you tried fitting the BF rear gearbox mount on the 626 transmission??? i really really wanna know if the whole bracket/mount fits on there

                            i tried that. it didnt fit right. its possible with some modification though. im going to get the trans bolted up tonight and try to set the whole engine and trans in the car. the front trans bracket looks like it might fit with a spacer in between the bracket and the mount.

                                its in by itself! need to finish a few things on the front and side mounts but the rear bolts up perfect! i was wrong about the rear mount. the stock mount slid right on to the transmission! the way it looks right now i can use my stock crossmember and front/rear mounts.
