          I had the 89 GTX! I was in 2004 or so. I was plated in Ontario, bought it and sold it not long after due to second child, I needed money quick and had people wanted it.

          Its was black with a build date of 02/89

          I have a picture of the door jam at home. I'll posted it later.

                      wonder how many 91 protege gt's are left in canada? i know the 93 gt had a very low production number. believe it was 500

                        I currently have a good running 89 GTX that will soon be registered. Hasnt been registered for 10 years, but cleared DEQ Clean Air testing, and all I need now is $250 to register the danm thing.....

                            Correct. I have a car that hasn't be registered in 10 years as well.
