"There's a hierarchy of insanity in motor sports. Normal people think all racers are crazy. Folks who race sedans think people in open-wheel cars are nuts. People who race cars of any kind think motorcycle racers are absolutely off theirs meds. But there's one group that everyone agrees is made up of the most extreme, the most daring, and absolutely craziest people in racing - rally racers."

Yeah, they have a lot of new products that I haven't seen yet. I haven't had time to keep up with my buddy who works for them. I'll probably get one of those to suppliment the 8"ers I have. I might even modify my fog light grill to fit those and have them on my street car.

And Jason, I should be around this week. Let me know. I'm gonna try to make it to Charles's thing Sunday. I'm going show shoeing that morning so I'll probably be late.

Well I've been working on the car and the house as equally as possible. Got the suspension all mounted up and together.

Stock vs entry level gravel struts.

Stock vs gravel springs (stock on bottom)

        All bolted up.

        Fronts.

        Rears.

        Ride height.

looking good! So they're taller struts, and short/stiffer springs? How much ride height did you gain from that? Looks like a 2" to me, but I'm not familiar with GTX ride height lol

The gravel springs are shorter and way stiffer.

This is stock ride height.. I think it's about an inch/inch and a half raise.

Same car in the first pic? Where'd the cage go?

Sorry Terry, I know it's confusing. I own 2 white ones.. not the same car.

It was just the only picture I had of one at stock height.

Come on up man. The weather's nice! I'll probably need a hand battling through the electrical when I hook it up wrong at first. I'll let you know when she'll be ready for some rally-x shakedown.
