Thanks, I need to make a real decision if I want to take the wagon down the power trail. I have everything for a KL swap, but I am worried about the passenger mount and axles. If I go BPT, I still think I have to go custom on the side mount. Even though I have the b6t body mount. Then just get a festy/aspire/escort wagon to daily. If not I buy a Miata and continue to daily the wagon. Cars don't seem to rust here, so I am a little less worried about that now.
Diff swap and run GT axles, problem solved

Or sell me the car lol

      1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
      1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I would probably want too much for it now with the rest of the work I have done. I suppose if someone came with $2500 I would sell it but that would be bottom dollar firm! I just don't feel like making a custom side mount for it. I sort of want to do something fun with the wagon as it deserves it.

Rear mud flaps and my almost finished repair of the chrome strip. I need to get glue, glue it, trim it! I think it will really make it look more complete. She needs a bath, maybe tomorrow after work of Tuesday before.

Run intercoolerless! If I can do it here in hot azz desert, you sure as hell can do it. I ran 14lbs for a few months, even across country, with no water meth and no intercooler on a vj14 with a G-force tune.

Been a long while since an update. Working 40 hours a week plus having a significant other can sure put a damper on keeping up with forums! Molly got a new heart a few months ago out of the 86 I bought. I drive it roughly 80 miles round trip to work and it's doing awesome! I have about 135k on the power plant now and around 310k on the chassis. In Feb I will be getting a second car and I will do more to her! Here are a few pics of Molly enjoying the sights and sounds of Colorado with me!

I have basically the same car, an 87 wagon with a 5 speed, but I don't have that awesome Etude front grille. I do have the same Lancer OZ wheels, they're a great cheap wheel for the BF cars. I bought mine with 240K miles on it, and I purchased it from the original owner. Only options were power steering, under-seat drawer, cassette deck, aluminum wheels, and high trim floor mats. I modified a spare tape deck pigtail for line-in, so its all original except for the wheels. I wish mine was an 88-89 though, the older 85-87 Bosch licensed EFI was total garbage compared to the later stuff with the better idle control. I purchased a 323GTX parts car and have been saving up pieces to do the swap, just figuring out how to adapt the 4WD subframe to the 2WD chassis...
