1988 GTX Restoration - Going To Be Fun!

    Rear suspension back from the powder coaters and all new poly urethane bushings fitted.




    I also fitted everything back in the car tonight. Final torque tomorrow and run through everything before FINALLY putting the car back on its wheels.

          Ok guys here are some pictures of everything installed and torqued on the car.





          As an FYI...new axle nuts with the flange built in as opposed the original nut and washer, Mazda part number shown below:

                    The suspension on these cars are awesome to work on, this is by no means the most challenging suspension work I have taken on, I leave that to this...my other project car (sorry off topic!)

                            Nice, looks alot like mine, tho i powder coated the hubs and subframe as well :D wish it stayed this clean :S

                                Not much done this weekend, but at least the car is back off the jack stands and on the ground.

                                I did fit the new Cusco rear struct brace and carefully removed sections of the interior panels to fit it.



                                Next on the list is to replace the front strut bearings, replace the front wheel bearings and also install the front Cusco brace - which should be done this weekend coming.
