There are b6ts pushing 80 bagillion hp on stock blocks. What I meant is that the most horsepower with bolt-ons and stock turbos I've heard of is around 200 whp. IMO the vj-14 isn't worth that much work, you can get more horsepwer for cheaper by adding more airflow and bigger turbos. If you have a built engine you could make gobs more power with even an 11/t-bird and still have a very responsive car or do something like an 11/8 and have a sick drag powerband.

That would be an 11/14 hybrid which are really quite common, probably moreso than actual vj-11s on b6ts. Honestly I don't think that the spool is bad at all, it's almost too fast for me as a daily driver, I can't keep t out of boost accelerating with traffic and spools way faster than any aftermarket turbo set-up I've ever driven. Definately not a dog by any means and the extra power is un-****ing-beleivable.Fast, cheap, reliable: pick two.

It's your car, do what you want but I'm fairly certain that with an exhaust a vj-11 would spool every bit as fast as a completely stock car an even with a stock exahust I still think my car would kick ass on a vj-14 car on everything but a really really tight gymkhana style auto-x. but this is all IMO, do as you will.Fast, cheap, reliable: pick two.

over 200whp on a VJ14 on a B6(t)??? id like to see that. i don't think the VJ14 has that flow capacity does it.
the vj11 should never run 20 PSI... you should worry about it blowing up @ anything above 15psi---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---

Of course it will make more power but IATs will go through the roof and longevity will suffer. Just swap turbos, I didn't pay more than $100 for any of mine, and didn't you say your turbo is blown? If you want more power than that do the 11/t-bird swap, 350 cfm maxes out at 22 psi, or look around at Probe GT forums, they have all sorts of information on how to install bigger turbos.Fast, cheap, reliable: pick two.
