My rally GTX was kinda fun with the stock drivetrain and an fcon and such but after we put the bpt stuff in there it got more funner, it's the only GTX in the under-7 minute club on the Brooklyn Tavern stage of the Doowop rally, and got us at least a couple overall stage wins in the 3 rallies it ran in with that swap... and that poor thing was a rallycar its whole life, by the time I got to it it was held together with nothing more than moss and Bondo...
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

If you didn't hear Jay (not to hi-jack) but I picked up Mark Tabor's old GTX the white one... Shooting for 2011... hoping for 2012.

hot damn. More Mazdas out in the woods is always a good thing. You can fight the Baldini bros, who are bpt'ing their car as we speak. Keep me honest while yer at it.

I'm gonna probably end up running PGT first season since it's what it was set up for... I don't know what kind of budget I'll have for just entries and keeping it on the road.

Hah.. at least. Luckily I've been running with Weaver in the Doug's blue and white Rx7 so I'm at least prepared for the financial burden. And have plenty of spares for GTX stuff.
