    exaust gasket

Is this metal gasket nessesary to change when taking the manifold off and on? Or can it be re-used. The manual says nothing about it.

    Thanks

    I'd get a new one...

'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

it has under 100 km on it. And unlike other metal gaskets it don't have any "marks" with is pushed together when it tightened.

I would get a new one only because:

          1.) They're inexpensive

2.) You'll save time if the old one you re-use ends up with a leak.

Running slightly rough at idle, and there will be a horrendous noise coming from your engine bay. The exhaust will be incredibly loud, as you're running a partially open header, essentially.

Black carbon soot at the location of the gasket, you'll smell the exhaust. You'll know it when you see / smell it.
