lack of power and green turbo light on

hi guys,,
im trying to get my 323 4wd turbo back on the road..
i drove it for the first time ever since buying it and fitting an engine,, it just doesn't seem as quick as it should up the road,, i have checked the crank keyway and that is all ok..the green turbo light comes on quite often in every gear.. just wondering if anyone had any ideas and knows when the green light should be on and off??
im going to try a different air flow meter this weekend and see if that makes a difference..

the light should light up under boost,check your intercooler pipes for leaks.

no leaks on the inter cooler.. keyway on the crank is good,so i guess im getting boost.. maybe its something else at fault??

timing + boost leaks ..

how did you check for leaks ? did you pressurize the entire thing and check with a gauge

Check the timing, the cam timing, vacuum lines, buy a boost gauge, buy an afr gauge, make sure your cat isn't clogged, etc. etc.
