Bg 323 gtx into bf gtx

I've search and read different threads and I can't find one where someone has swapped the entire bg gtx drivetrain into a bf gtx. Is this feasible? I've read you can use awd bg suspension with mixing of some bf parts. An I've seen the bg gtx motor and trans swapped in. What I haven't read is if the rear diff. Can be swapped in an if the whole rear sub frame is used.

Essentially can you buy a front clip that includes the rear suspension and build a bg gtx out of a bf?

Yes, several people have swapped the bg drivetrain into the bf. From what I've read and been told, the rear diff and driveshaft are pretty much the same between body styles, so it's not worth changing those unless your current set up is bad.

BF GTX rear diff = BG GTX rear diff for all intents and purposes. the only one that was different was the GTR, it had a rear LSD. The transmission is different with the center LSD and it angles the engine differently (as in none as opposed to the B6T stock trans). you will need a BG driver's axle to get the inner bearing assembly and stub shaft from so you can hybrid your OEM axle innner stub so that it will work with the BG differential. Also you will need to mod your shifter cables or find BG ones.

Perfect! I wa debating on trying to upgrade my bf suspension or wait and do bg stuff when I go bpt. Is the gtr worth the coin or is it better to start with gtx and invest from there?

Just a little background, since I never introduced myself. I bought this gtx because I had an escort gt in highschool and loved the Mazda drivetrain. Since then I got into porsches pretty heavily and currently have a 75 911 S with a 94' 3.6 dual plug motor and turbo suspension and 73 914 going for paint and it will be receiving the parts off the 911. So I have some expirience with this sort of stuff. I look forward to learning alot here on this forum.
