    Will it work?

Hey I was wondering will a 1988 Mazda 323 B6 2WD transmission work on a BPT engine? I want to know if I have to buy another transmission for it. If you know anything help me out.

it can be done, some of the bolts don't line up at the bottom of the bellhousing and there may be a couple other issues but I know of at least one GTX that had a bpt engine bolted to the bf trans, and there are no bellhousing differences tween fwd and 4wd that I know of.

'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

That is a B6t 1.6L not a BPT 1.8L....that F series tranny you want to use will not last very long behind either motor.
