    What is it for?

Hey, I believe my oil leak is coming from this. Does anyone know what it was originally used for? It seems to have a rubber cap on it that is cracked along the sides. It is located right beside the oil drain plug

    Thank's

What engine is this? It kinda looks like someone's bright idea addition. I sure don't recall seeing any such thing in that location on a bpt or bf..

I recall having that on my BF GT. It was just capped off at the top like that.

It's on a B6T from a BF. mine has it too, and it's capped just like that. I'm thinking it was used for an optional oil cooler, and the engines that didn't get it just got that cap.

It is the drain for the factory oil catch can/ separator from the breather vent. These were on the earlier JDM cars.

Anywhere sell the cap? Or would I just be better off making a new one. And thank-you for the information. I was stumped when I seen it
