I have part of one still. Gt2860r/VJ20. Proper garret comp housing and CHRA and everything, still have the CHRA and compressor housing sitting in my basement.

Sold the machined hot side though.

Thing spooled wicked fast, wish I got a chance to drive the parts car I got it with.

Slap that thing on a T3 housing then. Why did you sell the hot side and to who?

Mostly because I'm a dumbass but also because I'm going T3 instead and the turbo was blown so it wasn't being used.

And the buyer will pop his head in here sooner or later, I don't want to name drop in case he gets pestered by people to sell it.

Still on the fence with it....use it or not. Definetly not cheap. I was just wondering.

Oh I knew it wouldn't come cheap. I'm not in a position to buy currently anyway, but I guess if you decide to sell later on, keep me in mind.

Does anyone know how much it would cost to machine a hot side to accomodate this CHRA? Kinda surprised taht I don't see it done that often.

I'm guessing around 300 at least.

Center Housing and Rotating Assembly. Basically everything but the Compressor Housing, Turbine Housing, and Wastegate.
