Since the car in question is OBD 1, I doubt the computer will care where the lines are at or how they are run as long as it thinks it's still controlling the system. My escort has most of the evap lines in such bad shape that they are really doing nothing, but all the related solenoids are still plugged in so the simple obd1 system thinks everything is still ok and I never have an engine light.92 Mazda MX3 GS> For sale, $1750 OBO
